In essence, life is about perspective really, much less about actual fact or incident- in our view. The songs in the show represent varying perspectives of life and relationship when viewed through a particular prism- there are different ages among us collaborators in our show- a prism is created there. There are many life events in Cynthia’s life, that lead to her view today, tomorrow, five minutes from now, that when viewed through another part of her “prism” will look and feel differently.
The show will paint pictures that we can all identify with, some fictional, some non-fiction from Cynthia and Tom’s lives, that take the audience on an exciting, profound sometimes funny ride that leave people wondering about fact and fiction and perspective, we hope, in their own lives.
Material ranges from stunning songs written by Tom, some recorded by iconic singers in the cabaret and theater world, to 60’s folk pop, theater songs, 80’s pop, and even a latin number. Fernanda Douglas will be the musical director and pianist and virtuoso Sean Harkness joins on guitar bringing the show to a dynamic level that is unmatched.
